Pitch-perfect harmonies and infectious, complex melodies executed with passion made the debut album from Mexican trio Camila an instant hit. No surprise, given that it was the brainchild of seasoned producer, singer, and composer Mario Domm and was catalyzed by lead singer Samo’s emotive, R&B-influenced vocals. In the old-school soul vibe of the title track as well as in the precision funk of “Yo Quiero,” the record catches the members wrapped in an intense love affair with popcraft.
